&lt;div&gt;There are 4 Resources the Colony produces and consumes:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* Power (electricity)&lt;br /&gt;
* Life Support (breathable air and drinkable water)&lt;br /&gt;
* Gas (technical and industrial gases) &lt;br /&gt;
* Liquids (technical and industrial liquids)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Resources are consumed to maintain the [[Modules]] and by the [[Citizens]] (Life Support). Shortages of any of them can spell disaster for the Colony. Resources will be replenished by import, though that will weaken the economy and quickly empty the colonial bank - STOCK.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The [[ARC]] Module produces all Resources in limited amounts, just enough to build the first few Modules at the beginning of the game.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Every Resource has an Accumulator. It is a buffer that collects and stores some overproduction of a Resource as a safeguard against shortages. Every Accumulator has a limited capacity that can be modified by specific Modules (e.g., Storage, Tanks) or by some Decrees.&lt;br /&gt;
