There are 4 Resources the Colony produces and consumes:

  • Power (electricity)
  • Life Support (breathable air and drinkable water)
  • Gas (technical and industrial gases)
  • Liquids (technical and industrial liquids)

Resources are consumed to maintain the Modules and by the Citizens (Life Support). Shortages of any of them can spell disaster for the Colony. Resources will be replenished by import, though that will weaken the economy and quickly empty the colonial bank - STOCK.

The ARC Module produces all Resources in limited amounts, just enough to build the first few Modules at the beginning of the game.
